Sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line again in 2025, we are excited to take our Prog Rock voyage on the breathtaking Norwegian Gem. Sister to our 2024 ship, the Pearl, our Alumni guests will be familiar with the layout. However, after undergoing an extensive refurbish in 2022, you will notice that the Gem has been given new life with a fresh, light, and bright modern look. She is ready and waiting for our CTTE family!
The Norwegian Gem is part of NCL’s Jewel Class which was tailored for the concert cruise industry, offering top-tier venues like the beloved pool stage, exceptional dining choices, and the renowned friendly and attentive service of NCL. The experience is sure to leave a lasting impression on even the most selective cruise and music enthusiasts.
The Norwegian Gem features a stellar pool deck allowing us to transform this space into our Outdoor Concert Stage where guests bask in the sun while watching the incredible bands on board. This outdoor stage, along with the additional venues throughout the Norwegian Gem, makes this ship a fantastic choice for artists and fans aboard Cruise to the Edge!
On top of amazing venues for live music and entertainment, there is no shortage of places to grab a drink or a quick snack in between shows. With a wide selection of bars and lounges on board, you can order a latte at Starbucks, a glass of bubbly at Magnum’s Champagne and Wine Bar or your favorite pint at O’Sheehan’s Bar and Grill.
When it comes to dining, you can find a variety of complimentary and specialty restaurants. When you are on the go, take time to stop in and feast on the ever changing buffet options at the Garden Café or take it outside and enjoy your meal with an ocean view at the Great Outdoors. Don’t forget to grab an ice cream while you are there...Nothing pairs better with listening to your favorite band by the pool than a cone filled with your favorite flavor!
If you are looking to slow down and take time during a meal, stop in and try a mouth watering steak at Cagney’s Steakhouse. Prefer a more elegant dining experience? We recommend the exquisite french cuisine at Le Bistro. Or, if you are wanting an entertaining performance as your chef prepares your meal, Teppanyaki has the best table side chefs on land or sea! Whatever you crave, you can find it on board the Norwegian Gem.
With all the hustle and bustle that a concert cruise brings, sometimes it is nice to just take a break and make time for yourself. Consider visiting Mandara Spa where you can indulge in a relaxing massage, a soothing facial, a soothing facial, or simply enjoy unwinding in the Thermal Suite enjoying some heat and water therapy. This is your time...splurge a little!
